ROAD
Spec Tire
Classes:
Tires are not part of your entry fees.
You must purchase tires from us at the race. Racers are
limited on amount of 'race' tires. We can sell unmarked tires for
practice.
Touring Rubber Spec Tires:

World GT Spec Tires:
- Tires will be BSR World GT Spec Tires

If racing in non-timing speedo classes, be aware we have the right to
inspect your speed control and/or have it inspected by others to verify
legality (this means pulling out of your vehicle if necessary).
Oval

Brushless Motor
Rules:
ALL MOTORS WILL BE PRE-TECHED
AGAIN BEFORE RACING BEGINS
Motors in the spec motor classes (13.5, 17.5, etc) can not be 'modified' externally or internally from factory.
'Normal' bearing changes, rotor replacement, etc is legal. Motor timing
adjustments are legal (as limited by manufacture design). By no
modification, we mean physical and deliberate changes to the motor from what
it was designed/sold for (no timing/can modifications, wire length altercations, solder
tampering, stack shortening, etc.). No oversized modified rotors allowed in spec classes
(must remain stock size/type). Tuning rotors are legal if on the
Roar approved list for that specific motor (tuning rotors which are still spec
sizes and are not modified style/size rotors). We will have our own inductance/resistance
minimums and have ranges for motor winds/brands. Motors too low will
not be allowed to race. Motors must be at the tech table/room
temperature for testing. Motors must have been
available for sale before race.
- No active cooling / freeze spraying motors
- Heat sinks / single fan for motors are legal
- No hybrids / mixing of brands or parts
- 5 +/- degrees of trackside ambient to race
- Modified uses Roar/Ifmar motor rules
- Legends motor can not be tampered with
LiPo Battery Rules:
LiPo users are responsible for their actions.
It is recommended to follow all safety warnings (including the use of a LiPo
sack). Because oval and road currently has different rules for LiPos,
we will also have separate rules:
ROAD LiPo Rules:
- List of approved LiPos

- Modified Road Ifmar/Roar approved
- Road 1S Max Voltage to race: 4.25
- Road 2S Max Voltage to race: 8.50
- 100 degree max temperature to race
- Batteries must be on list by 01-20-12
OVAL LiPo Rules:
- Oval 1S Max Voltage to race: 4.22
- 5 +/- degrees of trackside ambient to race
- Only LiPos Roar approved by 10-01-11
- Pro Mod Roar legal packs as of 01-20-12
Note: Just having a Roar approved sticker doesn't
necessarily make it a
pack legal.
